Because of campaign finance laws, we are required to try to obtain specific pieces of information about you and report it on the campaign finance report. In Texas you can give an unlimited amount to the campaign. We are not allowed to accept $100 in cash from you in a given election cycle. We are allowed to accept an unlimited amount as long as it is by credit card, debit card or check. Contributions made to the campaign are not tax deductible for income tax purposes.
